Aimee Bright and Leonardo Tomasini take the 2026 iQFOiL U23 World Championship titles after a dramatic Medal Series in Poland.

The 2026 iQFOiL U23 World Championships came to a thrilling conclusion on the Bay of Puck, Poland, with Aimee Bright (NZL) and Leonardo Tomasini (ITA) crowned world champions.

The final day was contested in extremely light and unstable conditions, with Slalom racing requiring multiple attempts and re-runs before the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Grand Finals could be completed.

In the Women’s Medal Series, Aimee Bright completed a dominant week to claim the world title. Maya Gysler (NOR) pushed the New Zealander hard in the Grand Final, but Bright held on to take gold, with Gysler securing silver.

In the Men’s Medal Series, Leonardo Tomasini produced the decisive performance of the championship. After finishing second behind compatriot Federico Alan Pilloni in the Qualification Series, Tomasini overturned the advantage on the final day to take the world title.

Pilloni finished with the silver medal, while Poland’s Stanisław Trepczyński delighted the home crowd by securing bronze.
