SailGP Returns to Lake Geneva as Switzerland Chases Home Revenge

SailGP returns to Lake Geneva on September 19-20 for the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix, the championship’s second visit to the venue after a sold-out debut in 2025. F50 foiling catamarans will race inshore at speeds approaching 100 km/h in front of the city’s waterfront.

Last year’s Geneva event ended with Germany SailGP Team, presented by Deutsche Bank, denying the Switzerland SailGP Team a win on home waters in a tight finish. The Swiss team will be looking to reverse that result in front of their own crowd this time.

The Geneva stop is one of thirteen events on the 2026 SailGP calendar. Full fleet racing is scheduled across both days, weather permitting on the lake.
